We’re going to show you how to loop a YouTube video on desktop and mobile.
How to Loop a YouTube Video on Desktop
Go to the video you want to loop. Right-click the video (not around it). The YouTube context menu will open. Click Loop.
When the video gets to the end, it will automatically loop. To confirm it’s enabled, right-click the video and you will see a check next to Loop (which you can click again to disable).
How to Loop a YouTube Video on Mobile
Unfortunately, looping a YouTube video on the mobile app isn’t quite as straightforward as it is on desktop. Instead, you need to put the video in a playlist. Here’s how to do this:
Go to the video you want to loop. Beneath the video, hold down on the Save button. Tap New Playlist. Input a name for the playlist, choose a Privacy setting, and tap Create. Tap See List to go to the new playlist (or go to the app’s home screen, tap Library from the bottom menu, and enter your playlist). Tap the Shuffle icon (two intertwined arrows). 3 Images Close Play the video, and tap the arrow in the bottom right corner of the video. From there, tap the Loop icon (two arrows forming a rectangle).
When the video gets to the end, it will automatically loop. Of course, you can add multiple videos to this playlist as well.
How to Use an External Service to Loop a YouTube Video
If you don’t want to use the above native methods for whatever reason, you can also use an external service called YouTube Repeater.
To use this easily, go to the YouTube video you want to loop. In the URL bar, replace youtube.com with youtuberepeater.com, then go to this new URL.
For example, if you wanted to loop youtube.com/watch?v=n9xhJrPXop4, you would change it to youtuberepeater.com/watch?v=n9xhJrPXop4.
This won’t work on videos where the uploader hasn’t allowed the video to be embedded outside of YouTube. As such, using one of the two above methods is the ideal choice.
